BOOK CLUB SELECTION
From The Author
Dear Reader,
When I began writing this novel, I wasn't interested in creating a character who simply achieved success.
I wanted to explore what happens after success arrives. What happens when a woman who has spent years building a remarkable life discovers that achievement alone cannot answer every question she carries.
Camille's journey is one of ambition, vulnerability, identity, trust, and self-discovery. She has learned how to lead organizations, inspire others, and navigate rooms filled with influence. What she has not fully learned is how to allow herself to be known beyond the image she presents to the world.

As the story unfolds, she is confronted by unexpected relationships, family questions she can no longer ignore, and a growing sense that some of life's most important transformations happen when we stop trying to control every outcome.
My hope is that this story encourages meaningful conversations about leadership, belonging, resilience, love, and the courage required to embrace uncertainty.
Thank you for spending time with these characters and for continuing the conversation beyond the final page.
Warmly,
O.T. West

About The Book
Camille Smith appears to have everything. As a respected executive on the verge of becoming CEO, she has built a life defined by excellence, discipline, and achievement. Yet beneath her success lies a growing awareness that some questions cannot be answered through hard work alone. When an unexpected romantic connection enters her life and mysterious messages begin appearing at the edges of her carefully controlled world, Camille finds herself confronting issues of trust, identity, family, and vulnerability. At the same time, long-buried questions about her past refuse to remain silent. In Her Silence is a compelling story about ambition, belonging, resilience, and the transformative power of being truly seen.
